Scream 2 takes place two years after the Woodsboro killings. Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is enrolled at Windsor college, a small Midwestern university, where she is receiving prank-’you like scary movies?’-calls prompted by the release of ‘Stab’, a film written and based on the original films’ events by Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox). And now, the movie has unleashed a new killer at Windsor which heralds the return of ex-cop Dewey (David Arquette) to look out for Sidney. The body count climbs, the death scenes are more elaborate and everyone’s a suspect.
