Robert Zemeckis followed up his IMAX 3D hit movie ‘The Polar Express’ with this Neil Gaiman / Roger Avary-scripted re-telling of the old English poem. Ray Winstone ‘will kill your mon-stahhh’, Angelina Jolie slinks around in the virtual nude, and ‘Suh’ Anthony Hopkins and John Malkovich lend some gravitas. It’s a rollicking tale, and is beautifully adapted for the screen. The 3D on this movie was fantastic, and Zemeckis is very much a pioneer in the field.
