Television so Sharp you don’t need 3D?
Japan’s NHK has been working on the successor to HDTV, Super Hi-Vision, for years, and now a 7,680 x 4,320 pixel resolution prototype was recently unveiled by Sharp. Apparently, we’ll be waiting until around 2020 for 33MP video and 22.2 channel sound to actually be broadcast, although some demonstrations could happen during the 2012 Olympics. [...]
