This Japanese animation sees teenager Haru discovering a hidden cat kingdom after rescuing the Prince of the Cats. Together with her new feline friends Muta and the Baron, she goes on an unlikely adventure. From the famous Studio Ghibli (Spirited Away), this is a modern day take on ‘Alice in Wonderland’. ‘The Cat Returns’ is slight, but it does have it’s moments. One for cat lovers and kids.
