ENTRAPMENT
TWENTIETH CENTURY FOX
RELEASED 2 July 1999
Sean Connery (Sean Connery) is the world’s greatest art thief and when a priceless Rembrandt is stolen, Insurance investigator Virginia Baker (Catherine Zeta-Jones) goes after him. After some ‘amusing interplay’, the pair team up to carry out an outrageous millennium bank job. What wanted to be a com/rom action flick unfortunately falls far short on each count. You do get plenty of butt shots courtesy of Zeta-Jones though. As for Sean Connery, he’s in serious danger of parodying himself into oblivion if he doesn’t choose some decent roles soon. A small piece of trivia: the cast list consists of only twenty-one people. Well I found that interesting.
