If you’re familiar with the BBC2 comedy ‘Bottom’ starring Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson, you’ll be pleased to hear that they made it into a feature film. Richie and Eddie are running the worst hotel in the world so beautiful Italian movie star Gina Carbonara (Helene Mahieu) chooses the perfect hiding place after jilting her playboy racing driver Gino Bolognese. Scenes of cartoon violence between Richie and Eddie lasting up to five minutes at a time wear thin, and the ending is rushed and unfunny. There are a few genuinely hilarious moments, but not enough to recommend it.
